The Disc Golf Tour Down Under is buzzing with excitement as we announce the first wave of feature player signings for the 2026 season! This year’s lineup brings together world champions, rising stars, and fan favourites — all ready to kick off their season under the summer skies of New Zealand.
Leading the lineup is none other than Paige Pierce, a five-time World Champion and one of the most recognised figures in disc golf history. The current world #9, Pierce has inspired a generation of athletes and fans, having been a dominant force on the global professional tours for more than a decade. Her Tour Down Under debut marks a major moment for the Tour.
Joining her is Bradley Williams, a veteran pro renowned for his smooth form and masterful control of the disc. A two-time DGPT Champion and staple on the global circuit, Williams brings a wealth of experience and a painter’s touch to the Tour, in what will be his Southern Hemisphere debut.

Also joining the 2026 roster is Kat Mertsch, the charismatic World #13 making her first trip to New Zealand. With family roots stretching from Sydney to Auckland, Mertsch’s debut doubles as a bit of a homecoming — and fans can expect her trademark energy, bold playstyle and infectious enthusiasm.
Returning to defend her kiwi crown is Sofia Donnecke, Canada’s #1 FPO player and a 1x Tour Down Under champion. Fresh off a breakout season that saw her finish fourth at both Throw Pink and the DGPT Championship, Donnecke has proven she’s not just one to watch — she’s one to beat. The 2025 Egmonster Classic winner is hungry for more success on New Zealand soil.
Rounding out this first wave of announcements is Taylor Chocek, the rising American star and former University of Oregon track and field standout. After making her TDU debut last season, Chocek returns with renewed confidence and a growing reputation as one of the most athletic and composed young competitors in the game.
Five Weeks. Four events. One unforgettable summer.
The 2026 Tour Down Under is shaping up to be bigger, brighter, and more competitive than ever. The Year in Disc Golf starts here.
