Welcome to Christchurch, the gateway to New Zealand’s enchanting South Island, where the 47th New Zealand National Championship marks the conclusion of the 2025 season. Prepare for an exhilarating test of skill as players navigate Bottle Lake's classic woods golf, as well as the long, open fairways of Brooker Ave.
This PDGA A-Tier and NZDG Major Championship is hosted at Christchurch's foremost venues and the country’s largest disc golf market. Bros for Change is a charitable trust, promoter of disc golf and host of the 47th New Zealand National Disc Golf Championship, in Christchurch, February 2025.
Developed by former New Zealand Maori and New Zealand Rugby League player Jaye Pukepuke, the purpose of Bros for Change is to give young people who have been labelled, a second chance to create real change through real talk with real people.
The New Zealand Disc Golf Association (NZDG), the governing body for disc golf in New Zealand and an official affiliate of both the PDGA and the World Flying Disc Federation, has awarded the rights to host this NZDG Major Championship.
NZDG is proud to endorse the Tour Down Under and pursue our shared mission - to grow disc golf into a mainstream recreational activity in New Zealand.
